Cake Decorating...THE FINALE

So we had our last cake class on Thursday. I did better than I expected to and it's actually quite fun! Here we are feeling so cool because we got a certificate for completing the course.

Here's what you've all been waiting for (drum roll please).... my final cake.

That's a whole freakin' lot of frosting I'll tell you what, but all those out there who don't like frosting (me included) we just scrape it off anyways. Plus it's all about the look right? :)

Cake Decorating...well Cupcake Decorating

So we had our second week of decorating! We did cupcakes Thursday. It was great to have some freedom to choose what you wanted to put on them. I know some of mine our pretty ugly looking but I was trying things that the teacher wanted us to try. Here's all of us girls showing off our "Martha Stewart" skills! Here's my cupcakes. Cake Decorating!

So me and my friends decided to do a cake decorating class and increase our craftiness. We signed up at Michaels for a 4 week course. This is my first cake...there are many flaws but at least you can tell what it is supposed to be. FYI we were rushed and only had 30 minutes to finish our cakes (and that is why it's not completey finished and a little weird looking). It's been a lot of fun and I'll keep posting my next class projects--this week it's cupcakes!!
