Warning you now, this is gonna be a long’un with picture’s galore… due to a lot that has happened and me having no desire aka being lazy :) to make a separate blog post about each thing.
- I have the sweetest new nephew Easton Daniel Keck. It’s my sister Krystal’s second baby boy (all natural, and not by choice, she’s one tough momma!) We are all smitten with him.
May 19-27: We headed to California one last time for Neal’s graduation from Optometry school. Neal’s parents drove down with us and Neal’s brother Nephi and his wife Mallory flew in on Thursday. We had a blast! It was a great week and fun see friends we hadn’t seen since starting rotations. We truly made life long friends there and I feel blessed to have had such a wonderful opportunity to meet them all!
Here’s a few pictures of what we did while in Cali in no particular order:
Beach Bonfire with“Team B” (Neal’s study group who are some of his BFF now) they burned their first original school white coats…can you tell they were excited to be done with school?
May 25: GRADUATION!!! I can’t even begin to express how proud I am of Neal! He’s going to be a great doctor!
Sooo sooo grateful Neal’s parents and brother were able to make it! It meant a lot to both of us. We missed Tim and Kira but he’s in school so they weren’t able to make it.
Also my family was able to watch it live online. We appreciate them being so supportive and know they all wished they could’ve been there too! They told me they all cheered with us when Neal’s name was called.
Spa Pedi with my fav girls (Sarah, Shonee, and AubRee)
Lunch with Genny (I worked with her at Fullerton Behavioral Health) and she became my grandma away from home…love her!
Final Banquet with SCCO class of 2012
Spent a day in LA
Downtown Disney
Beach Day @ Crescent Bay
- May 30: We celebrated Jayden’s 3rd birthday by visiting his grave and all his cousins wrote messages on balloons and we let them go so Jayden could get them in heaven.
- We got to spend a lot of quality time with family (late nights spent laughing and talking and eating yummy food, playing games, and all other sorts of fun) while we were home for the last month until we moved out here to Spokane. We love our families and are so very grateful we have such wonderful ones! What a blessing they are! We miss you all and can’t wait until we get to visit again!
June 16: celebrated our 6 year anniversary
