Thanks Missy --this was a fun tag to do and got me more in the Christmas Spirit
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper--definitely.
2. Real tree or artificial? Call me lame but I'm all for the artificial, it's not so messy and all you need is a nice pine candle!
3. When do you put up the tree? The day after Thanksgiving
4. When do you take the tree down? Around New Year’s.
5. Do you like eggnog? Yep, but I can only handle a little
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Probably when me and my sisters all got HOT PINK beanbags chairs... but I'm not sure I'm having a hard time racking my brain with all the good Christmas gifts I got.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Neal
8. Easiest person to buy for? My sisters.
9. Do you have a nativity scene? I have two but I only brought one down here. The other one is ceramic and I painted it when I was in 4H, it is pretty dang cute if I might say!
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? an ugly sweater
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? The Santa Claus (only the first one), ELF, and Miracle on 34th Street. . .
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Around Thanksgiving
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Candied Almonds, chocolate covered pretzels, Carmel's, chocolate oranges, real oranges, hot chocolate with candy cane--all those yummy homemade goodies!
16. Lights on the tree? Of course, we have white because Neal and I had to negotiate because I grew up with multicolored and he grew up with blue lights on his tree so we went with white...and I think that was a great choice :)
17. Favorite Christmas song? Probably Where Are You Christmas and O Holy Night
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Definitely HOME.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Yep all I gotta do is sing the famous song!
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? I actually have a Santa on top of ours
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? PJ's on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? I hate how busy it is in town and how fast this time of the year goes by--I feel like I have no time to just relax and enjoy it.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? An angel holding a star that I got from my Grandma and Grandpa Olsen when I was little.
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Rolls, ham and funeral potatoes
25. Favorite family Christmas tradition? There are so many...getting a new ornament each year, getting new PJ's, waiting by my parents bedroom door while they wrapped Christmas presents and once they had one wrapped for each of us girls they would stick them outside of their door and then we would examine our gifts as we carried them to under the tree, new Christmas dress when I was younger, orange in the stocking and favorite chips and candy, going to look at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve to make the time go by faster and then come home to yummy hot chocolate. Oh and this one I love...we had a manger with pieces of straw and each day we would do something nice for one of the members of our family secretly and leave a piece of straw where we had done the good deed and once they found it they would place it in the manager and by Christmas the manger was full for baby Jesus.
I TAG EVERYONE WHO HASN'T DONE THIS TAG THAT WANTS TO!

These are tiles just stamped and then colored in. I am using them as decorations but they can be used as coasters too! I also did these wood blocks in fall colors with the saying "Give Thanks" I think they turned out pretty cute.
