Neal found out on Wednesday that he received the WICHE scholarship for optometry school. Now this is quite a big deal for us, it will save us about $60,000!!! Only 2 people from our state get chosen to receive the scholarship. The student's have to apply for the WICHE and the different optometry school's that the student's interview at rank the student and then the state decides who receives it. The only condition is that we have to come back and practice in our state...no big deal though cause that's where we wanted to end up anyway--close to family! We are so thrilled and can barely believe it! Neal was worrying earlier this week because he hadn't heard anything from them and we had just paid our tithing on Sunday, so 3 days later we were blessed for paying our tithing. As I was thinking about things, this scripture came to mind...
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts,
if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
