On Saturday we took my car in because it was making grinding noise and found out my brake pads were completely gone it was metal against metal, so while they were replacing the brakes, we went grocery shopping and someone saw the for sale sign in Neal's car and followed us to Albertson's. They test drove the car and decided they'd buy it. They followed us back home to our apartment, we unloaded our groceries and trunk, did all the paper work necessary and then they drove off with the car. We had to walk to the car repair shop to pick up my car. Life has many surprises! Neal's a little sad because he became attached to his car. We were amazed at how fast it sold. We put the for sale signs in it on Tuesday and by Saturday it was gone. We thought it might take 2 months or so to sell it so we decided we better try and sale it in June. Well, we were wrong! It was a WANTED car! So we had to run to Walmart and get Neal a bike to ride to work and then he'll use it at school in California too!
Here's a picture of what Neal's car looked like a '98 Honda Accord...

Here's Neal and his new car...

It is a relief it sold though because now we can pay off my car and have no car payments while in Optometry school. Neal's a good sport and said he can make it to work on his bike in just about the same time as he did driving!
