Kicking off Christmas. . .

With 2 Christmas parties this weekend-- one through Neal's Optometry school and the other one was our church Christmas party.

The first party was at Dr. Larcabal's, a teacher at the Optometry school. He has such a nice house and was so kind to let us (with all the many kids) into his home. We had dinner, decorated sugar cookies, and did a white elephant exchange, also SANTA came and visited the little ones! Most of them were bawling their eyes out, terrified-- which was pretty funny!

The second party was our ward Christmas Party. We had a yummy dinner, the primary children put on the Christmas Nativity and there were special musical numbers. Neal and Aaron Smith played a guitar duet "What Child Is This" they did a great job. I was glowing with pride! :)

We are excited to go home Friday but we understand we will be going home to cold weather and snow. We've had it too easy here so I think we'll be FREEZING!
