Concert and Beaches and Surfing…

We were able to go to Huntington Beach with some of our friends two weekends ago.

Larson’s, Richardson’s and Neville’s--It was a lot of fun. So Neal went body boarding with Paul and a little while later asked if he had had the car keys the whole time because he found them in his pocket. So how amazing is it that Neal was able to keep the car keys in his pocket while body boarding?! We feel so lucky we didn't lose them. The automatic door opener didn't work until it was all dried out :)

This past week we were able to go to a free concert in the park…way fun! We went to the one in Placentia but there is also one in Fullerton and Brea. Here’s a little taste of the music we enjoyed!

On Friday we went to Huntington to watch the Surfing Championships. It was really fun to watch…pretty amazing stuff! The waves were BIG too. Supposedly some storm from Tahiti made the waves that weekend particularly high. Some reached 25 feet.

This weekend Neal’s friend he grew up with Jacob Hartley was visiting some relatives (The Stout’s) who happen to be in our ward, so we met up with him and his wife and her family and went to lunch on Friday at The Hat and Dinner at a Peruvian restaurant Saturday. Neal had a blast reminiscing with his buddy!
